Abstract

High-rise buildings are subject to significant wind loads that depend on their location. In some cases, wind pressure is the main design concern, especially in northern India, where wind speeds are higher. Building on sloped land in hilly areas adds more structural challenges. This study examines how high-rise buildings on sloping ground respond to severe winds. The research used SAP2000 software for numerical analysis and simulations, focusing on base reactions, natural time period, and overall lateral displacement under strong wind.
