Abstract

The publication aims to provide the basic information about the mechanical properties and phase transformation temperatures of the vitrified slag generated during the high-temperature smelting of a variety of inorganic wastes in a plasma reactor. In order to characterize the material, the hardness according to Vickers, micro hardness, and Young's modulus of elasticity and fracture toughness were monitored.
